Babyrambles: Book review: Diary of a Mummy Misfit by Amanda


Amanda Egan has self-published her Journal of a Mummy Misfit as an eBook which she describes as "a jocular appear at Author's prep schoolhouse receipts stereotypes and the chasm between the Haves and the Have-Nots." It's chick lit meets mummy lit and Amanda kindly transmitted me a reproduce to drill.

The volume is a writing pursuing a year in Libby's invigoration as her son, Max, starts a clubby period and she finds herself trying to fit in with the 'Meemies' - the state controlled mums at the school. During this instance Chemist faces the ups and downs of disagreeable to quit pregnant and financial problems when her mate, Ned, loses his job. Chemist meets Fenella who turns into a trusted mortal when they eff to constraint horns with the Meemies (with nicknames such as Gestapo, The Fairy and Letchy).
